If you’ve been to Hampden in Baltimore, chances are you are familiar with this place, Bazaar. Inside you’ll find a host of strange and fantastical things. The shop is tiny and every time I’m in there, it’s busier than the last time.
Air plants? Yes. Candles with horrible scents? Yes. Ouija boards? Why, funny you ask…
Bazaar is listed on Atlas Obscura for good reason, it’s a fun place to visit and it’ll likely gross you out or intrigue you if you are one of those non-squeamish people. And they have a new thing to check out now because the Ouija Board was invented in Baltimore!
A new museum has opened, up the stairs from Bazaar, called the Witch Board Museum. I guess because Ouija is copyrighted, the Witch Board Museum it is. There’s another one in Salem, MA, as well.
If you’re ever in Baltimore, check it out! It’s a fun time.
I am also now the owner of a Ouija board and to be honest, I don’t know why I bought it. Anyone want to buy a brand new Ouija board?
Goodbye.
